The only thing nicer than waking up to watch waves rolling onto golden sands is - soaking in the spa watching the sunset, sipping champagne on the deck, watching the hang gliders in the sky, strolling hand in hand along a deserted beach, counting how many bites the fisherman get, watching ships out at sea, seeing a penguin on the beach, spotting a whale... a seal... or dolphins ... being alone together.

Great place, fantastic views
The Beach at Moggs Creek is a truly wonderful place, where the mountains meet the ocean. Whatever the weather, there is something to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. From the comfort of your living room with extensive windows, you can watch the storms come and go over the sea, before rainbows come out to play. If bushwalking is your thing, there is plenty of splendid scenery to explore within a short distance, featuring a variety of plants and birds. After a hard day's walk, you can relax in your generous spa while watching the setting sun with a glass of local wine. If you aspire to a bit of night-time socialising, Lorne is but a short drive away, with an impressive choice of restaurants. Pam, the host at the Beach, will be able to recommend a good one. She is a pleasure to get to know, unobtrusively welcoming and a mine of information on things to do and see. I can strongly recommend this luxury getaway and hope to be back there one day soon.
